This week we are delighted to bring you the journey of our Badminton enthusiast, Ahmed Fayaz, Procurement Officer of Procurement and Warehouse Management Department. Fayaz has been working with us since 2003, and was selected as Employee of the year in 2011.

His main responsibilities include handling general and foreign procurements required for the organization. Fayaz describes his work environment as highly professional where he is able to learn and grow through his colleagues and rewarding tasks.

Aside from work, Fayaz is an incredible Para Badminton athlete at Badminton Association of Maldives (BAM). He considers playing badminton as a stress reliever, his comfort zone and where he feels genuinely happy. Driven through passion, Fayaz envisions developing sports at HDC, especially Badminton as a way of building teamwork and encourage staff health and fitness. It is his dream to improve Para sports in Maldives and drive interest and confidence to play para sports.
